Exploring The Benefits Of THC-Free CBD

For those in pain, whether it is headaches, muscle aches or pain in other areas of the body, finding relief can be a miracle, and THC-Free CBD may provide some relief. One of the best and most effective ways to benefit from non-psychoactive, THC-free CBD is to use it on the largest organ of your body: your skin.
CBD oil is the non-psychotropic component of marijuana and hemp, well-known for relieving aches and pains when applied topically. Now, it’s found in skin care products such as the luxury line from Mermaid Wizdom—and with good reasons.

Here are three benefits from nonpsychoactive, THC-free CBD:

1. Acne: CBD oil is an anti-inflammatory with the ability to help calm skin. Because acne is an inflammatory condition, research indicates CBD’s soothing properties can help diminish breakouts and reduce redness. Recent studies show that CBD may also decrease excessive oil production.

2. Aging and Wrinkles: CBD oil’s antioxidant properties can help lessen the visible signs of aging. It’s rich in vitamins A, C and E. Vitamin A stimulates the cells responsible for producing tissue that keeps skin firm. Vitamin C stimulates collagen production. Vitamin E blocks free radicals from the body, to help slow down the aging process.

3. Sensitive Skin: CBD oil has been found to sooth sensitive skin and studies indicate that it helps inhibit triggers of disorders such as psoriasis and eczema.

Soneva Changemakers – Uniting For Good Of All

Those who have visited a Soneva resort understand the need to protect the environment – they have beautiful getaway destinations. They start with careful consideration of the sites on which they create their resorts, and then, become caretakers of the land. They also believe strongly in the example of Henry Ford who said,
“A company must be an instrument of service, rather than just a money making machine”.

Soneva’s aim is simple – to make a difference wherever and wherever they can. They strive to be the best employer. Working hard to produce attractive returns for their investors. They fiercely defend the natural beauty of their resorts. Plus, they intend to and have succeeded in all three of their goals.

Caring for the community and the environment takes commitment and Soneva is always looking for ways to improve. One way they do this is with the Soneva Total Impact Assessment (TIA). This reporting tool developed in-house that allows Soneva to take a planetary boundaries view of all their social and environmental impacts.

The TIA measures impact in five categories – Natural, Human, Social and Economic Capital, as well as Tax – and assesses the impact of both the company’s direct activities as well as those of its supply chain. They can then makes changes needed and provide their research to influence the business decisions of their suppliers.

The Soneva Changemakers
Providing comfort beyond the guest experience – means more than providing someone a pillow – it means ensuring a whole community has power – this is the foundation of Soneva’s business – giving back. Now, they take this a step further with Soneva Changemakers, a website for change and those who make a difference.
Join Soneva on Earth Day as they celebrate Mother Nature and discover more about Soneva Changemakers and how they are making a difference.

Good Driving Starts With Defensive Driving Tips

Some days, we would prefer we were the only people driving on the roads when it seems like everyone is driving crazy. These five tips can help you be prepared for the perils of the road.

1. Know Your Car. Like people, each car has a unique personality. Some features work better than others, and conditions can cause a vehicle to react a certain way. Knowing your car’s limits and behavior patterns can help you predict how it will respond in certain situations. How long does it take you to stop and how much pressure is required on the brake pedal? What’s your turn radius? Does your vehicle lean when you round a corner? Does it quake when you hit a certain speed? Knowing the answers can help you avoid accidents.

2. Use Extreme Caution During a Lane Change. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that one of the most common causes of two-lane auto accidents is unsafe lane changes.

3. Know Your Blind Spots. Most cars have at least one line of vision that’s not clearly evident in the rearview or side mirrors. Even carefully placed mirrors often cannot cover every possible angle. Move the side mirrors far outward so that the angle of view barely overlaps the view of the rearview mirror.

4. Keep Your Hands on the Wheel. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration now advocates keeping your hands at the 9 and 3 o’clock positions instead of 10 and 2 because of air bags.

5. Keep Up on Maintenance. Routine work on your auto, like oil changes, fluid refills and tire rotations, can make all the difference in your car’s driveability.
